About this quilt
Snippets of indigenous textiles from Africa, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, and Japan are brought together in this small quilt. The cultures come together and joyfully compliment each other, as they peek in and out amid the domestic textiles, creating a rhythmic palette for the dancing threads.
The quilt is based on the traditional log cabin quilt block but the results are far from traditional. The quilt is mounted on linen matt board and framed under glass.
